looking for some insight on changing a clutch pushrod seal on an 03-04 1k. hearing mixed ways of changing, some say its an easy fix, just pull the seal, oil the new one and push in. others have said to drop the motor and split the cases. i realllllly dont want to have to drop the motor and tear it apart for a small $4 seal. any one have anyyyyy ideas on how to do this??

Been there done that. I hate to tell you, i broke my chain and cut my seal on my 03 and had to split the cases. Look at it like this perfect time to make some changes like cams and head. I know it hurts, but save up and do it when you can. You will be much happer when its done. I was... Best of luck .....
well looks pretty much like i have to split the cases, i really dont have much to do internally wise to the motor, but im waiting on maybeee throwing a little hairdryer onto it. but it all comes in time. it still boggles my mind how in order to change a $4 seal suzuki couldnt figure out a better way then to split the cases. fml.
