which year of cbr900 16" front wheel will fit an 06 gsxr 1000....the 93-97 or the 98-99 wheels:2thumbs:

After reading all this i'm still a little confused....i'm doing the 97 CBR900 front wheel conversion to a 06 GSXR1000....WHAT DO I NEED TO DO...lol

For all who have done this I need some help I have a 98 wheel and 98 rotors and the rotor spacing is the same as busa spacing. Any help on what exactly wheel and rotors needed would be great. I want to run both front rotors I have read this thread and looks like there is some info that is not true or people were unsure on the parts they had.

anyone with any help would be great see where some say the 98-99 wheel with 98-99 rorots fit the gsxr 1000 but I have that and the spacing is too wide can anyone shed some light on this???

All you need is the correct axle from Mcintosh, TWT, etc it going to run you about $175 or so

I have the correct axle it the rotor spacing that's not right. that's what I am looking for info on. I want to run 2 brake rotors and the spacing is the same as a busa (98 wheel 98 rotors I have) not as the gsxr1000. I also tried the 93 wheel I have same spacing I am at a loss and I don't want to buy another wheel till I know what's 100% going to work

I know this thread is old.I am brand new here. I am a active member of the gsxr forum . I did look for a introduction thread with no luck. I found this site looking for info on a wheel swap. I found aftermarket wheels I really like to install on my k6 gsxr 1000 from a 95 cbr 900rr . There is not much info I found so far from google or you tube or the gsxr site. If they were stock wheels it probably be a bad idea and a downgrade however I really do like these wheels they are both front and back 17” and has a 200 rear tire witch maxes out my stock swing arm. I found some contradicting info even on here. Do I need axles or just swap bearings, I found front axles for a wheel swap on google but could not find rear do I need 04 rotors calipers etc? I’d like to find solid info on what’s required before I buy these wheels.
