When I remove my factory tail light and just leave the wires hanging to use my +8 race tail, my speedo goes nuts jumping up and down sometimes, I can put it back on and the problem completely goes away... Any ideas on how to fix this when not using tail lights? It still goes crazy when I plug in my led's thats on my race tail, but thats just the brake light, and not the turn signals.

you will more than likely need to check the resistance of the stock tail light and put a resistor in line with your led to trick your bike to thinking the stock tail light is there or you may be able to use a load equalizer used for led lights

I ran all last year without tail light and no issues.

why would this just be happening to my bike? it is a 2007 busa BTW

i ran an led brake light years ago and it came with the equalizer- without it nothing worked right.

What is an equalizer and where do I get one? Or how do I make it from radio shack?
