I have a gen 1 busa and want some r1 wheels and what ever I need to do the conversion

the rear wheel is almost a direct fit just a little adjustment in the wheel spacers , did one on my oil cooled and my busa , real easy, the front ???? couldnt tell ya :2thumbs:

What did you need the machine shop for?? How hard is it to swap to 02 GSXR 1k?

The first gen 1k wheels will bolt right up, as for the R1 wheels theres alot more to do. You gotta make the R1 axle fit, and make a spacer sleeve for the opposite side of the stock sleeve in the fork tube...

So the R1 axle is too fat??could you just change bearings??? the spacer is the easy part...

chop has a thread on here making a billet front axle kit for the conversion
