I thought our team was the only one to go out there and try something that sounds stupid. But Trae showed me that he had some balls that night. We were putting down some 1.20 60's and Bud Yoder had a ticket when we qualified with a 7.75 on a bad wheelie. So I figure he must have known when I got the tune up right, we must have gone fast. But what I heard (because I didn't see his passes) from Bud Yoder, his bike didn't make a clean pass, but when we said we were ready, he just went out there like that. It just goes to show that anything can happen in drag racing, and you've got to take a chance sometimes.
