Before the shinko and the p1 the weapon of choice other than the mickey for prostreet was the sc1&2 i still use the sc2 till this day .

What is the weight compared to the Shinko and P1? Glad you started this topic. I had one lined up for cheap but turned it down since I never ran one and did not want to start from scratch like I did with the Hook Up.

i had just mounted the tire when i posted for some input. been to the track twice. started out at 12 psi and worked my way up to 22. hooks real well. might be my new tire of choice.

The Pirelli SC-1 is a good tire.Try to stay with the 180-55-17

Comparing weight the 180-55-17
The Pirelli is a little heavier than the Hook-Up and the Power one and also the Power One and Hook-Up has a flat contact patch which will let you run higher psi in both tires over the SC1 .

this tire was tested and softness was the same as the Power 1. Also this tire worked on a turbo prostreet tire more testing will be done shortly
