Live Timing results during MiRock season opener to be available 3/19-3/20 2011 | Dragbike Live.com- News In The World of Motorcycle Drag Racing!

Just wanted to post this up to get the word out. Live timing will be on for this weekends Race!!

Last Years Finals were great and no problems with Grudge / NT sessions!

Jason, Any chance of getting this for MIR? Not sure what the costs/ infrastructure requirements are, but with the ability to basically join and have an automatic online logbook, I'd be in for sure.

Please don't stay home and complain about not getting updates as fast as you would like. Tracks and series are in the business of selling tickets. Thats how we exist.

We sometimes can offer updates, but if something happens and it doesn't work out, then dont be upset because you should have been there and bought a ticket and could have seen it live.

Nothing beats it by seeing it LIVE in person. You miss all the good stuff when your not at the event. There is so much that results don't show.

Be thankful for those that do post things, but dont take it for granted because they are spending there time to do it for you.

racing in my office chair

Thanks to all those of you out there working to keep those of us here up to date. Wish I could make the 54 hour drive to watch and race. I wish there was a west coast race series that featured prostreet bikes, those of us prostreet racers here in western Canada get 6 chances to run our bikes. So when you guys are racing i'm glued to the computer looking for any current race info.
Thanks Again,
Dave

Jason you got some set saying this...Some people on psychobike dont even live on this side of the country...so live timeing would just give more publicity and stuff...

Why dont you run your own series then and stop saying it wouldnt be fair and shit...Man sometimes you dont say the right things..:whatever:

Sean, I have no problem with people wanting to see results. But it is very upsetting when people get upset or start slamming someone when it doesnt go the way they expect. Especially when people like Doug Ray at Dragbikelive doesnt get enough props for all the time he invests of his personal time and yet some people want more. Dont take it for granted. Be positive and appreciative of those that are doing this.

Full results are generally always updated no later than Monday morning on mirockracing.com and they are already are on there now.

If some want earlier results then they can find them on dragbikelive.com

But dont always expect live timing at each event, because that is not going to happen.

If you expect more, buy a ticket and attend the event. When someone is sitting in the grandstands they wont miss a thing. That is how we are in business. For those that are on the west coast, we appreciate your interest, but the worst that can happen is you will see on Monday.

So jason if money is the case then just charge a fee to cover it...Publicity will just make the sport grow...I know the people that help me would love to see it online but cant close there shops down to go to an event but most defently would pay a reasonable fee to watch online or live timeing..

Whatever you want its your buisness and i already know your against the online thing anyway so ill just drop it..:2thumbs:

:2thumbs: to Doug and dragbikelive for always keeping people posted..
