Just thought I'd introduce myself so the admin doesn't think I'm a spam account. I'm more a reader than a poster and I like to stay behind the scene in things usually, so I hope my account stays active. I'm a legit account. :)

Without getting off topic, all my experience is car related, but I been getting the bug to build a 1986-1987 Suzuki GSX-R1100 Drag Bike and also a nice semi hot 86-87 street bike.
I grew up on the NW side of Chicago and use to hit all the hot spots where street racing took place, but I got involved in the Nostalgia Nitro scene and brought everything to the track and that is my reasoning on wanting to build a drag bike, it's basically to intellectually stimulate me.
I had multiple friends and aquaintances that had Bellucci powered bikes and I almost bought a roller from Fornarelli back in the day and ever since then, I wanted a Blue/White 1986.
Since I have many car projects, the bike will eventually take time, but I been doing a TON of research and that is how I found out about this site and a few others. I came here for tech and to see what others are doing so I can decide the route I want to personally take with my build in the long run.
Enough of me rambling, time to check out all the forum has to offer...

thanks for the reply, but in the near future I will be starting to look for a stocker to be honest. Pipe and carbs worked over are alright, but when it comes to a drag bike, I'd like to start from scratch because it's no fun if everything is already done, plus I'd like to get my hands on the project as much as possible. I'd rather run slower and do all my own work than buy a completed motorcycle if that makes any sense. It's all about learning for me...
