--Parking is free! (pit parking for non racers is not, LOL)

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
--Participant's entry list will NOT be revealed until the day of the event. All attendees will receive a list of racers entered (flier) at the gate (racers & spectators).
--GLD will have their concessions stand & bar open and available for everyone (NO BAR FOR DRIVERS).
--1st ROUND CALLOUTS!! Racers will have the option to choose their 1st round opponents. You can call out any registered racer, and if they accept then that's it! In short, two racers must agree to race each other (KOTS rules, heads up only), and may not be from the same team/crew. KOTS staff must approve the matches to ensure no "fixed" races. If racers do not wish to choose an opponent (or accept a challenge), they will defer to the standard draw.
(NOTE: CALLOUT RACES WILL BE DRAWN DURING 1ST ROUND DRAW TO DETERMINE WHEN THEY WILL RUN)
--After any matches are declared, racers will be drawn at random from "SKIN'S BUCKET"
--Bye runs will be the last name drawn, and will automatically advance to race against the first name drawn in the following round.
--All races will use an AUTO START instant green (NO pro tree), with the track win lights determining the victor. (IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF AN ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION, THE RACE(S) AFFECTED WILL BE RE-RUN AUTOMATICALLY, NO EXCEPTIONS)
**VERY IMPORTANT**
--We will be using a "2-bulb" green; 5 second auto timeout. Once both racers are pre-staged, the first racer To fully stage starts the clock. The last racer to fully stage has 5 seconds to do so before an automatic red light. Green light will be fully automatic!!
--Once vehicles are fully staged, any premature starts/jumping will result in an automatic redlight & DQ.
--ANY UNAUTHORIZED PEOPLE NEAR THE FINISH LINE WILL BE EJECTED IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT A REFUND
--Crossing the center line in front of your opponent (before the win light indicates a winner) will result in a DQ.
--KOTS staff will hold ultimate authority in making any ruling, and all rulings are final--PERIOD. (No, really...LOL)
--No track prep or burnouts beyond starting line (cars may not pass starting line during/after burnoutfor any reason--DQ) Any attempts to prep the track may result in a DQ of the racer whose crew makes the attempt.
TO FURTHER CLARIFY: Burnouts must start in the designated area (just beyond the water box), and may be driven out so long as the car does not cross the starting line in any way. "Puddling" of traction compound may be done in the designated area only. Spraying of traction compound may be done from the water box to the line.
--A racer may be DQ'd for any reason not listed here at the discretion of KOTS staff. (aka: NO bullshit, please)
--DQ will result in forfeit of entry fees for racer and crew.
--There will at least 15 minutes between rounds, save for any unexpected delays (wrecks/oildowns). (time frame will be adjusted if necessary to ensure completion of event)

ABOUT THE BIKES:

There are no restrictions of any kind beyond the requirements outlined below...

CLUTCH:
--Must be OEM-type, hand operated ONLY. NO sliders/lockups. Aftermarket frictions/steels/springs OK. All clutch covers will be removed for inspection and sealed upon completion. Any clutch repairs will require re-inspection.

TIRE:
--NO slicks (road race, drag or other), any non-slick (factory molded tread pattern) OK max tire size is a 240

**NO WHEELIE BARS**

**IF IT'S NOT LISTED HERE, THERE IS NO RULE THAT APPLIES TO IT--ENJOY!!**

VIDEOS/PICTURES:
--We will have Kyle from 1320 Video again taking professional footage again for a DVD of this event. As always, we are encouraging racers & spectators to take their own footage and submit it to HeyyoSteve (if they want) for possible inclusion into the DVD! Any footage/shots (even just a second or so) used in the DVD will result in a credit on the DVD for providing the footage--perhaps more!
**KOTS VII DVDs (May 2012) will be available for purchase from 1320 as well.**
--We will also have on hand a host of fantastic photographers capturing the action from every possible angle!! Boomer, Nick, and K-dub just to name a few regulars...

Of course, we gotta give thanks to everybody. Thanks for the support in helping us make this the baddest event in the Midwest for the last five years!! As always, we have more badass ideas coming down the pipeline in the future for you guys!!!!

Without the racers, there is no KOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
