i want to upgrade one of my air cooled gsxr 1100cc(1052cc) motors. i heard 1993-1998 water cooled gsxr 1100 rods will work. are they the exact same length? are they an exact fit? does anyone have a set for sale?

not the same length but they will work..1052 engines had a shorter stroke than the 1127 o/c and the w/c engines..the w/c and 1127 rods are the same length..

i think there is .016 between the 2 rod lenghs but will work. check piston to valve clearance thou. pins are the same.
