Gen1 clutch swich bypass for aftermarket levers?

I had my Ecu's restrictions removed by Frank at Powerhouse,NY,(i think its called) last year and have since had MooreMafia" do a reflash/map for my currant mods. I read that the switch bypass situation (i have aftermarket levers) can be handled thru the ecu...does any one know if its SOP, with either of these shop that did my ecu work ,to eliminate the bypass need/situation? I never mentioned my levers and it was never discussed.
