I've seen the Joe Rocket Pro Street line (leather jacket and pants) and they look nice.....is it quality though?
im just going to say this... you may be a beginner but its always best to be the safest possible and thats with BATES.

when i first started riding with my GXSR 1000... i bust the oil pan and washed out at about 80-100 mph... i got scratched up really bad using a cheap suit.

in november i crashed my pro street bike @ 185MPH going 7.52 and i didn't get a scratch... just a little sore from tumbling but thats all... suite took a beating but after that crash ask me if im ordering another suite from bates... :2thumbs:

that statement should speak for its self!:friends:

everyone will tell you whats cheaper and what looks cooler but safety is the reason why you wear leathers... take it from me... ill put it to you like this... a friend of mines crashed that same weekend in the same spot but was only going 174... didn't have a bates suit but i won't say names cause i can't bad mouth any other company but he got hurt very bad and suffered a lot of road rash at a lesser MPH...

No offense but there is no difference between 174 and 175 mph when your sliding on your ass :hysterical: There is a difference in suit quality tho.

The MPS or (same suit) cheaper on ebay will do the job very well. I have witness one that went down hard at the track and still in use. the rider was bruised and sore as with any suit, but walked away to ride again.

Good leather is good leather. Stitching and padding
will make the difference when sliding down the track. hit the wall and no suit will save you from broken bones or worst. Bates ain't that big in the road racers world and they fall 10X more than we do.

I've had 2 suits over 10 years (40 lbs) and i'm ready for the 3rd because I outgrew them. Do you think i should buy a $1000 set of leather?

900 for a set of custom NJK leathers. Cant go wrong also only around a 3 week wait. Compared to a 3 month wait with bates.
