hello,

i am new to the forum and also just started doing a little of racing at the track. i ride a 2006 636 with a pc3, yoshi slip on, lowered, and 8' over arm. i am trying to best sprocket ratio/combo. any suggestions? any help will be greatly appreciated.

1-2+ maybe 3+ but you can weigh 300 pounds and the gearing is going to be the same even if you were 180 pounds. Losing weigh helps your 60f and speed.a 600 is good for 1/8 not 1/4 so gear for the 1/8.start with -1+2 and see what happens

I had +4 and I could take off in 6 gear on the street.my bike reds at 15 and the cams stop pulling power at 13,5. First gear was bad *** but when I got in to the next gear it was dropping down to 14,000,so half the time I was just shifting Not Building power.the best I got was 6.7 in the 1/8 with the+4 , with +2 I got 6.5 and the rpm drop down to 12,000 op2:

just remember big guys need that gear on lil bikes. i ran 1 down 5 up on my 04 636 and i was 200lbs back then. these arent 1000s they need that gear to get moving.

ok, ive been [email protected] stock motor 62inches 1down and 5 up. if its coming up then make it longer or learn to use the clutch. dont kill the power taking off gear. i ran [email protected] on mine bone stock with a 30 day tag on it.

cant remember my 60. its been 6 years since i owned that bike. when it was 62inches was in the high 1.30s and low 1.40s. dont remember stock.

For 600 to run that on motor is running.right now my bike has -1+2 lowered ,6inc in back ,520 conversion , strep,2 brothers slip on. The bike best pass was a 1.495 60f 6.4 in the 1/8 at 107 on just motor.I still need a KN,power commander, dyno tune and a full swing arm.so what you are saying is if I go up +5 ill go faster then that at 190 pounds and get all of the rest of the suff.l might get 6.0 on motor a 118:buttrock: o and my bike is still stock right

I know you have some fast bikes,it might be different for honda with the gearing.just put nos on the bike see what happens maybe 5s this year

first thing is kill the slipon and buy a nice full system, i ran an arata ti system. then a power comander and a good tune i had all the lil tricks to go fast.....and my bike was on motor. stock motor. ive been a 5,[email protected] on a 40 shot. but the bike was 66 inches then.

Will the full exhaust make that much of a difference on a 600.

if your trying to go fast thats the first thing you need. weight loss and power increase.

This is my first bike that I've drag so I think that I'm doing good. I started dragging mustang at 15 and the last mustang I had ran in the 9s.that is sad that my car was faster then my bike
