Barometric Pressure Sensor - Hayabusa

Running my Busa on the stock ECU with an MC4. Ran like crap. I unhooked the Barometric Pressure sensor and it ran flawlessly. Any idea why? Is there any point in replacing the sensor to see if its bad???

you need to replace this sensor. im surprised it started without it.. the base fuel tables use a combination of the AP and IAP sensors to calculate proper fuel. make sure you have your vacuum plugged into the correct sensor.
I know with it unplugged it defaults to 101.7 kpa. I am assuming however that with it plugged in, the bike will run more true to the fuel map I have loaded, more consistent and compensate for the air, etc.?
yes that's correct. it probably doesn't make much difference but its there for a reason. i would check the sensor against the service manual and see if its working.
Ya make sure the hoses are right. The baro tube actually sould NOT be getting engine vacuum. All it does is senses the ambient air pressure for running at different altitudes. Air is thinner by volume at high altitudes so it will make the bike reference leaner fuel tables at those altitudes.
