having problems with my airshifter changed everything but the kill box (MPS). It will shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd but hesitate 3rd to 4th. Do anybody have any suggestions?
got delay turned all the way up thought that was the problem didn't work eithertryed setting the delay just a little longer?
small about 1inch in diameter air ram is 5" long with 3 1/2 strokeyou using the large or small ram?
does it do this every time exactly the same way? the reason i ask is because it could be the shift ram binding. depending on how you have it mounted you may need to allow some play for the shift ram so it can wiggle a little and shift smoothly.having problems with my airshifter changed everything but the kill box (MPS). GOT IT MOUNTED AT THE RAMThe problem isn't too much air. The question is where did you mount your air solenoid. It's only supposed to be a maximum of 15 inches from your ram. A nice way to do it is to mount it right on the ram.
I got it mounted in the bolt hole on side, got a little play to keep out of a bind went to loca air dralic store bought a new ram hell seems like it got worse. Is the rams you buy from MPS different?odoes it do this every time exactly the same way? the reason i ask is because it could be the shift ram binding. depending on how you have it mounted you may need to allow some play for the shift ram so it can wiggle a little and shift smoothly.
I'll trymove it close to the pivot point of the shifter.
You've got it a little close to the end of the shifter. It might be binding. Put the back wheel on a stand so the wheel is off the ground. Take the pin out the ram to the shifter. Hold 1 hand on the shifter, and use the other to spin the back wheel and shift it up into 2nd and hold it up there. Now meanwhile you're holding up the shifter, put the ram on the shifter to see if it is lined up with the hole and is moving freely. This is the new ram
did that a little off but not a nough to be in a bind tried to see if it would shift in the street, shift fine from 1st to 2nd but not from 2nd to 3rd. :wtf1:You've got it a little close to the end of the shifter.
