Does it matter how far away from the regulator or bottle you mount the air pressure gauge? Does it affect the shifts at all the closer or further you put it?

x3 Mine is mounted it the center of my bars. Been that way for a while now no problems.

Yeah, MPS even sells a remote gauge kit for that purpose for mounting it in view when the tank is hidden in the tail.
