Just letting you guys know there is still a 5.60 index class at the ROCK this year. We had several no bar bikes in the class last season that were very competitive so don't let those old school bar bikes scare you fellas away. This is an 1/8th mile class using a pro tree on a 5.60 index.

Anybody out there think they've got what it takes to win or are ya scared and plan to stay over in the test and tune lanes:s24:????

5.60 index is fun. Grudge is a hassle

whats the payout and entry fee?do they have a point system?

Yes, there is a points system for the 5.60 index. The points winner from last season gets free entry all this year so it does pay back to win the championship. Payout is $800 to win and $400 to runner up. They also pay round money- for each round won you get $20. There is a bike minimum now of 16 but we usually make that without any issues- the more the merrier. Entry fee is $75 if i remember correctly.

Now correct me if i'm wrong, you guys are willing to pay $100 to test at the ROCK with a slim chance of even getting up a decent race but you refuse to pay the $75 entry fee to at least win some money and a possible championship with free entry (Gold Card) for the next season??

Alright fellas, i'm trying to step the wife's bike up to run the 5.60 class this season. Putting the motor together this afternoon and hope to put it back in the chassis and fire it up by friday afternoon. Now if a woman is willing to take a chance with the competition in a heads up index class, i know you guys can jump in and see if you got the skills to make rounds.

I BELIEVE IMA GIVE IT A SHOT!!!!
Thanks for joining in- we hope to build the class up more this season.

We had a great turnout for the last race in 2010 with a mixture of street bikes and wheelie bar bikes. Marion Ford with motorcycletireoutlet.net stepped up to sponsor the class so we don't want to let him down.

Looking forward to seeing you all in the lanes.
