With the money your wanting to spend i would start off with an arm lower it full exhaust airshifter and some spray:2thumbs:

HE WEIGHS ARUOD 220 POUNDS HE HAS A 2003 YAMAHA R1 THAT HE INTENDS ON GETTING A LITTLE EGINE WORK AND SOME SPARY ON IT. WHAT KIND OF ENGINE MODS CAN I HAVE DONE TO MY BIKE TO MAKE SURE I HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO SHUT HIM DOWN. I WIEGHT 175 POUNDS, AND RIGHT NOW I HAVE A AKRAPOVIC SLIP ON, WITH A PCIII. THE GUY WHO I BOUGHT THE BIKE OFF OF SAID HE WENT DOWN A TOOTH IN THE FRONT SPOCKET CAN ANY EXPERTS HELP ME OUT I ONLY WANNA SPEND $2,500 THANKS!!!
Could you post a link to the short oem velocity stacks by chanceI had the same bike. Remove your secondary throttle plates. Install all short oem velocity stacks in the airbox. Get a bmc race air filter. Lower it, add some inches to the swingarm. Get a full exhaust system. I like brocks they make good power where u need it. Try to find a Kawasaki kit racing intake cam. Get it custom dyno tuned. Honestly I sprayed the **** outta my 10 for a long time with no problems (dry 30-shot).
