OK so I bought a zook flat pan for my 07 and when I took off the stock pan I saw that there was what appeared to be a pressure valve bolted to the bottom of the pan. It is attached to the oil galley that comes from the oil filter. On the flat pan that I got there is no way this thing will work. Do I need to even use this thing...what is it thing for anyways. Thanks

You set it up like the old style ones. Just take it out of the housing, remove the alignment pin fron the case, and place it in the case. The thing to remember is that the side that points down in the stock pan, has to point up in the cases. And be careful with the O-ring.

I have never done it, and it has ben awhile since I read on here how to do it. You need to remoeve the oil presure regulator out of the stock 07 pan. their is basically a strait piece of pipe with a o ring on each side that comes out of the engine and into the oil pan. where that piece is on a stock 07 engine/pan you need to install the oil presure reg you removed from the oil pan. I believe the o ring side goes up into the bottom of the engine.
Basically installing it just like you would on a 01-06 gsxr 1000.
