do they have an idle screw to adjust? mine idles at about 1000-900 rpm. would removing the exhaust back pressure valve cause this? the previous owner put the slip-on on the bike and "deleted" the valve...

Pull the tank up and you will have a screw on the throttle bodies by the throttle cables.
:2thumbs: It's the bottom of the two screws on left side of throttle bodies. Has two throttle cables connected. Turn screw clockwise I believe. Raise idle to around 1200-1300.
Make sure bike is at operating temperature before making any adjustments!

Thanks for the info i will add it to the list for this weekend! Wish i had a PC3 to put in with my bazzaz TRE...i would like to only take it apart once...
