bought this a couple years ago and never did anything with it. the motor floated a valve and destroyed a piston. got a good head for it and new piston and rod, just dont have the ambition to tear it down and fix it. come with all covers and oil pan. will not come with the bad head. 500 plus shipping. can email pictures.

You CAN NOT mitch match cylinders on the 01 and newer 1000's, you would have to have the cases line bored if you did and that ain't worth it not to mention that you would have to use the biggest crank bearings Suzuki makes (yellow) after you line bore it, something else to think about.

did not know that. looks like i will take it apart and sell whats good. thanks for the info
