Wanting to run my zx14 on the Texas mile next month and need to buy riding gear. What would anyone recommend? I am thinking full leathers, I have a snell helmet, gloves? I am looking around trying to figure these things out and any help would be appreciated. This is all new to me :-)

i have 06 zx10 68in -1 +5 gearing, lowered, thin pan and sidewinder tuned on mr9 tre and bmc filter. i wiegh about 250 the bike runs great. my question is is my gear ok and what rpm is best to leave at i cant seem to 60 ft any good and run a 640 a couple times please help
