For the dyno i would definately ramp it so you dont have trouble hooking the tire up on the drum. Start at low % and ramp to 100% over 2-3 seconds . I'd only make enough pulls to ensure a safe air/fuel and do the rest at the track.
i did mine similar to J's.. BUT i left it alone after i set it, and thats they way i ride it at the track to. with a 1.2 second build time and a .3 delay (i didnt delay on the dyno)
I brought a 40 in on the dyno with no ramp and it hooked.
