fuel regulators/ turbo

This is a discussion about fuel regulators/ turbo within the Turbo Nitrous section, where you will Drag Racers sharing info on Turbo and Nitrous applications; bosch regulator 42psi/ max psi 55 on boost,changing from bosch to 1:1 reg.aeromotive how much difference in fuel map running same amount of boost 12psi .will it be on the lean side??????

    It should be the same, They are both 1:1 regulators.

    regulator is a bosch reg that comes on the mr turbo kit,dont know if its 1;1. just going 1;1 put pistons rods, just wondering how far off tune is.also 9.1 comp.

    If you are 42psi base and 55 psi on 12 psi boost, that is a 1:1 regulator already. Shouldn't change the tune if you switch regulators (probably ne need to even switch it if it isin good condition, the bosch regulators are nice units.

    ok from what i was told the bosch reg.is only good for 14lbs boost , now vacum line to reg. aft of throttle body or forward of throttlebody.

    Are you using this bosche regulator? If so, it has been used to well over 30 psi.

    no the one i had was anodized blue and dark grey vacum canister

    boost reference should come from upstream of the throttle bodies, I don't think it will ever see boost near the intake valve...LOL
