About LinkBacksI buy these to my 08 1000, and i found info that i need to use special headgasket that is 0,06 thickness.
Pistons are 10,1:1 if i use thick gasket then it will be somthing about 9:1 or less? Why can't i use OEM or some aftermarket gasket?

Stock or .030 would be fine.

If your not using them for turbo app. If turbo use .060.

that is just kind of the standard on turbo 1000's. I have ben useing .060 headgaskets on all my turbo 1000's since 2004 or so. I have a new one sitting in the garage right now.

man, the .060 headgasket is because the piston sticks out of the hole bout .020. the deck of the piston is raised to make it thicker

check you piston to head clearance and set it for how you want to run. the piston does sit above the deck as stated above
Working on my slow ass zx10r hope I finish it soon so I can go play with all the other slow ass bikes out there

Who sells the .060" thick head gasket the cheapest? I have only found similar thickness from orient express and mps and both are well past $100.00.

At least on stars website they only show 2 options,either .018" or .030" for the Gsxr 1000. Orient express has .051" and the other 2 mentioned that star carries. Looks like orient gets my business:)
