    Default PC5 Auto-Tune Problems...HELP..!

The problem im having is the autotune isnt doing any correcting after speaking with powercommander for the past week...I havent gotten a straight ans besides bring the bike in and we will look at it....uhmm, im in Michigan..LoL....

anyway, I enable the auto tune and set target a/f, I make a run and come back to the pits...shut the bike off and hook the laptop up....When i go into see what the autotune corrected there are all zero's in the table...I have the autotune set up to start correcting, time based, i have it set for 10 seconds right now...I dont have a switch or have the engine temp enabled. can anyone give me something to look for...??...When the laptop is hooked up and the bike is running, the autotune IS reading a/f....but its just NOT correcting anything when I make a run...??

yeah, Ive been on the phone with them off and on this past week....today they finally said that i can just bring the bike into them and they will look at it....that doesnt help me much, im on the other side of the country!!

I'll try letting the bike sit and see if that does anything...

That's the problem. The bike needs to be out of the warm up sequence. If I remember correct the autotune takes 5 to 10 minutes to be sure the bike is up to working temperature. Otherwise you are compensating the compensation tables not the fuel tables.

is this every-time I go to run it has to be on for 5-10 mins before the autotune will start to make corrections....even if the engine is already up to operating temp?

The auto tune is not intended to tune in such a short period of time..it's intended for steady state/cruising tuning..the bike does have to run for a period of time before the auto tune will begin to read or make recommendations...also, the auto tune sampling rate is nowhere near fast enough to make accurate readings in a less than 10 sec time frame...

This autotune algorithum is used in several industrial pid controllers that does work extremely efficiently, it just takes time, def more than 10 sec. This may call for more than down the 1/4, maybe some dyno time to set some maps up. Me-I would use my own maps, due to alt., ambient temp. variations not an auto tune unless I could run the bike for an extended lenght of time.
