Re: Max horsepower in tha 1/8th
Its all about getting it to the ground effectively, some other stats like wheelbase, weight, suspension set up might help.
You can only use so much power with a given set up. Kinda like how you see a 500whp supra run the same times as a 900whp supra lol

I'll be the first to Guestimate. 450hp no wheelie bars. Maybe some guys that know more can give a better answer.

Re: Max horsepower in tha 1/8th
Anyone seen video of that rocket bike seting some sort of record??? That rocket bike was running a motorcycle tire not a flat slick and had no wheelie bars so to run the time it did im sure it was putting alot of power down quite early into the run. The whole track must of been coated with glue haha. Anyways alot of factors (will depend alot on track prep tire and chassis and suspension) so im sure everyone will tell you something different. My answer to your question would be ALOT of hp can be used if everything is perfect ie bike setup and track prep(which will be crucial).

that rocket bike could have ran those times on plastic power wheel tires, as the engine was not driving the rear wheel. perhaps not the best example, but you're correct with everything esle.

Re: Max horsepower in tha 1/8th
good answers huys im just tryin to get a gen. idea bc im gettin ready to put the rods and pistons in my bike and ive seen the power the trubo 1ks put down but i dont see the point in have a 450hp bike if its not gonna make that much power through the 1/8th bc im only gonna run the 1/8th so u see if i cant put down say 320 i dont need to boost it up that high save tha motor lol

come on i know someone else has wondering the same thing

The hp is how much eng. makes at the RPM you run up to 1 st and 2 nd gear , if you shift at 12800 and bikes 170hp at 12800 ,you used 170hp. yes or no ? more or less?
