Resistor question
I am trying to figure out a way to eliminate my Air Switching Valve on my 06 zx10. i installed the smog block off plates and wanna get rid of that stupid valve but if i unplug it i throw a FI light. my shop manual says in order to test the valve i need to check it is operating within 18-22 ohms. i am assuming that if i get a resistor that operates within the same range and plug it into my wiring harness the resistor should fool the ECU into thinking the valve is still there. is this right.....?

it read 10.3 ohms when the valve is close, so i put a 10 ohm resistor in line, still FI light....
