all it is making all the tolerances on the same side of exactly that the tolerances.. whether you set it up loose or tight . example the piston to wall is .002 in one hole and .003 in another.. well lets make them all the same... and do that through out the entire motor.. So yes it might make more hp but not a huge amount i would say only a few at most.. But look at it like this it takes 100 penny's to make a dollar and that's worth 5 penny's..

    4th fastest N/A bike 223mph

So why do SuperSport motors make so much more HP in "Stock" trim if blue printing gains are so little?

Alot depends on who is "blueprinting" it. If someone that knows what they are doing down to the T has all of the right equipment does it then its good stuff. If Joe blow that read about it in a book and doesnt have the correct tools does it then its still better than nothing but not worth a ton more money. Like was stated above. It wont make a huge difference but will certainly help

Motors come from the factory built for longevity and mass production. By blueprinting the motor your getting EXACT tolerances on each and every component. One big reason supersport motor make so much power is that they are set up tight... i.e. higher compression, degreed cams etc.
