nos setup zx10r

This is a discussion about nos setup zx10r within the Tuning Performance section, where you will Engine mods-Tuning talk for all Sport Bikes Every little bit helps!; I'm looking in to doing a Nos setup on my 06 zx10r for next year around a 40 shot and I'm new to using spay and would like some input on what should be a

    I'm looking in to doing a Nos setup on my 06 zx10r for next year around a 40 shot and I'm new to using spay and would like some input on what should be a good setup.... wet,dry, etcetera thanks for any help y'all can give me.

    I ran a 30 shot dry on a spray bar setup on a wide open throttle switch down one in the front stock rear gear and the bike flys 1.42 60ft 8.66 @160 is my best. Im 200lb in shorts and a tee

    Do u have any motor work done to your bike or just spray

    Depending on your weight and how long the bike is you may not need it but its a great idea if you have the cash I would just incase you run.into a track that's not hooking up to well.
    My.bike on the nitrous gearing.is sitting about 65.5 inches

    Make sure your clutch basket has.been modded as well don't want that thing blowing apart common problem on these 2nd gens

    Thin headgasket other then that all stock. I ran this season on stock valve springs but.if your doing anything.over 30 id get the hd valve springs

    well this winter I'm changing some things up on my bike right now I just have the bolt on extensions so its sitting on 63" I'm bout to buy a 12-16 evil arm can't wait my gearing now is 15-45 but I just run in the 1/8 mile for now sometimes it hooks sometimes it don't my wight is 240 and I have ported polished. Head race cams .018 hg and a.p.e valve springs etcetera it runs pretty damn good but like any racer you always want more power and better times

    I heard that the first Gen 10 basket is better to use and it swaps right over is this true

    I haven't tried it but I have herd many guys on here swapping baskets and working.

    Getting.that thing to hook is gonna be all suspension tuning
