Simple easy unit would be the Daytona sensor SL-1. Better more detailed would be an AEM AQ-1.

I've run the sl-1 for 2 years now but sometimes it can be glitchy and I have an AEM that I was just about to install but haven't gotten there yet. It has probably the most functionality short of a stand alone unit.

Ive used one of those and was happy with the datalogging but it is very screwy. Dont go above 8000 RPM on the return road or you will lose your data. The graph is nice but the unit is kinda confusing to use. You also need to make sure you have a strong battery or you'll never get the bike to start. If it goes even slightly under voltage and your crap outta luck.

Preciate The advice, I don't have a extreme setup building/testing as I go but what i don't want is to be buying two and three things twice.....Imm looking for the basics as a setup for A start of a monster as far as electronically/Motor/Setup. But Imm also trying to gain knowledge all at the same time

For the price and the features you cant go wrong with the SL-1. The shift launch light feature is pretty slick too. If your not really going to use the features of the SB6 I would stay away.

I was just under $700 including sensors. On a gen1 stage2 turbo bike.

Get the AEM AQ-1 to start with, it is everything you want in a logger and works better than you need it to. I love mine, I will use it until I decide to go stand alone.
