PENSKE SHOCK QUESTION(05-06 1k to a GEN 1 Busa)

    Default PENSKE SHOCK QUESTION(05-06 1k to a GEN 1 Busa)

    Hey Guys,

    Just trying to see if anybody on the forums has put a 1K penske shock on a Gen 1 Busa, Is it possible? If so what adjustments would I need to make or if not could you give me a lil info on why it wouldnt work.

    Yes you can, I have a busa penske on my 07 1k. I Sent it in & let them revalve it for my setup & it works great (You've seen it on the blue bike)

    Preciate that Ike, I knew alot of people said that they can revalve the busa shock for the 1k but I didnt know if you can take the 1k shock n put it on the busa. But send it back to penske n let em know imm tryin to get it revalved for a busa?

    The revalve is about $75 plus shipping & if you need a different spring, they are $100
    So you have to weigh your options. You can get a new Penske for right at $700 so if u are buying a used shock, make sure it's a good enough deal & factor in the price to get it redone. No sense in having $600+ in a used shock & could've had a brand new one for $700, you understand?

    Litz revalve stock shocks are cheaper & also work well (around $400)

    I appreciate that, that's what ill be goin into the lab tryin to get right with suspension, chassis, and mapping but ill stay patient with it n just think about what I wanna do ans which option I wanna take but I appreciate all the help n advice my boi
