Hey P in the state of Ohio you can carrier your gun into a restaurant as long as the bar is in it's in it's own room. What I mean is the bar just needs to have a divider wall it is a gray area big time.

I believe most states allow open carry. In PA, you can open carry most anywhere, even on private property (walk right into walmart if you want) even if they have a sign up that says no guns. If the property owner or an associate of the owner of the private property asks you to leave, you have to leave.

haha cry me a river i got friends in the military who put themselves in every bit as much danger as the police way more in my opinion and when there state side even with a concealed weapon permit they cant so it has nothing to do with being in danger. All its about is the system protects the system and looks out for those in the system the government can care less about anyone else.

yes they put themselves in danger also.

my opinion was based on the following thought.

imagine being an attorney who decides to visit a local restaraunt / bar on the way home to have dinner and a drink to unwind,he leaves his gun in the car as it is illeagal to carry inside.

while inside having his dinner and drink, someone who is on the opposite side of this atorneys work happens to be there at the same time, however this guy who apparently is on the wrong side of the law criminally has his weapon the attorney or police officer etc is at a disadvantage.

now the reason they dont let construction workers carry a weapon into a bar is we do not engage in day to day activities that should put us in the same danger and they know how we rednecks like to fight when were drinkin...lol

fighting,f&^%ing and fixing flat tires and guns dont mix lol

hey guys,im in ny the hardest place in the world to get a hand gun permit.but when you get one you treasure it.you can in no way carry here the way you guys can.i have a permit, and just to know what power and distruction they can bring.i really dont think that its practial to carry in a bar. meaning some people tend to get beer muscles,or they just might be having a really phugged up day.just my two cents.fellas enjoy your carry permits and by all means think twice before pulling it.its so strick here sometimes you might say whats the use in having it.but its my right,be careful guys.
