About LinkBacksCP and JE....you aint got nothin on me!!!
still need to put in gas ports, oil ring scraper holes valve reliefs......etc...
set to use a 2 mil longer rod, AND a 2 mil stroker crank while keeping the same piston depth and clearances as factory. Had to use a 15mm pin to get enough room.. but basically its a 13.5:1 piston if you use the stroker cranks...with a 3 mil rod and NO stroker, it would be like and 11.5:1...good for turbos and Dope! :)
these prolly will never get made, but it was fun.

..nevermind. lol...yeah solidworks is flippin easy. and if you get the mastercam plugin you can surface model it and post process in NO TIME

i have solidworks,the problem lies in i learned to do everything in mastercam a year before i realized the benefits in solidworks,i am interested in solidworks primarily for the parametric capabilities as well as the libraries for assemblies,but it is a great software for design and modeling.
i would need 6 month to reaquaint myself with it and would have to rebuild all of our part files because i cant inport our existing cad files into solidworks.
thats 2.5 years of cad drawings i dont know man thats a lot of work it sounds like.
it would defin be easier to make changes after the model was finished,than it currently is in mastercam..

tim you need about a week to learn it. lol...spend 70 bucks and get this..

also, the new solidworks you can import pretty much whatever you want. they added mastercam file support as well.
