Got to have cervical disk surgery next week .

    On C4 though C7.

Degenerative disk disease. In Stenosis, bone spurs grow into foramina and spinal canal, narrowing the opening. The nerves and spinal cord may be compressed, resulting in pain, weakness, numbness and loss of coordination...

    Surgery.
Surgeon will make a horizontal about 3 inches long on my right of my neck.To reach the disks, soft tissue is moved aside. All or part of the disk that is irritating the nerve is removed. My surgeon may remove bone spurs. The vertebrae may then bw prepared for fusion,

Adding Stability Fusion. After removing the disks ,surgeon may fuse the vertebrae above or below it.This limits movement ,helping to relieve pressure and pain.First,my surgeon enlarger the space between the vertebrae .My surgeon then 'plugs'the space with cylinder or wedge -shaepedbbone graft.Metal plates will be used.As my healing ,the graft and vertebrae grow together. After fusion,my ability to bend my neck may be slightly restricted.

I have already been out of work for three week....my regular job and after surgeryabout eight weeks.

If you was in Valdosta an seen me you might would or could tell i was in pain.

I'm still going to do my drag race thing.Just going to have to hire someone to help me with the heavy stuff for a while.

    Yes I
'm still shipping tire and taking phone calls and e mails and pm's

See ya at the Roc which is my next race.

    Peace Richie
