looking for anything i can do to get better times on a stock wheelbase busa. so far i am getting straps for the front and doing -1 on the front sprocket. anything i should do with the suspension? i havnt touched the settings since i bought the bike two years ago. what about air pressure? keep stock cans on or take them off?
thanks in advance

The stock cans are heavy as hell. The -1 isnt gonna do as much as you may think. I went -1+2 and can tell a difference. I also ditched the screen in favor of a Puig that I can get behind. Start with about 25 psi. Just lower the psi if you spin. I run at 20 on a pilot power 2ct.

sounds good. i'll lower the tire pressure and take the cans off. now i wont have any cans at all. would this help or hurt power? last time i ran without them and ran a 10.2

Hey Tommy,
My 2 cents are, get a good shock. There are 3 or 4 good brands out there to pick from. Brock has a good set up and good customer support to back it up, there are some other supporters on here that sell shocks also. A good set-up will make you way faster than $2000.00 worth of motor parts you can throw at the bike. Been there done that.
Doc.

nope, track was hooking up good. ended up dumping clutch at 6-7 grand with front end straped and stayed with stock gearing. best time of was a 9.97 with 1.66 60ft. the strap helped ALOT
