pull your wallet out... get a clutch about 70" wheelbase and sum gogo juice!(nitrous) and somebody to help install and dial in bike.

drop it in the dirt ,get a good progressive box , lots of seat time and let it eat

dependin on how light you are it may not take much at all to do so...i have seen 5.55s on stock motor 1k not setup really

A good Head and Cam package w/ heavy duty valve springs, good chasis, with a 60 shot should get you there with a good tune. Just my 2cent

It really depends on what you wanna go. A stock motor on a 40 shot on a 08 1k will get you 5.50's easy if your around 68-70 inches and you leave the line on most of it. I've seen 5.30's on a fully dressed 06 with a 50 shot on it Leavin the line 100 percent no delay bout 69 inches long. That's with 160 suited rider tho.

my fat ass went 5.37 on my 04 zx10 with a head and cam package and a 45 shot. so it can definitely can be done. it will take you alot of seat time more than anything

It can be done for cheaper with Nitrous and a really good chassis setup. Seat time is the key.
