Lowering My Bikes Weight

Hey guys,

I have a 03 1K stretched 8" over, I've been running it at the track and wanted to take things off some unecessary things that most people take off. I wanna get rid of all the bs that I can without touching my stock fairings. Any Ideas?

you can lose your rear brakes, rear passenger pegs (depending on type of exhaust your running). If it's just a track only bike you can probably lose one of the front brakes and calipers. Ditch the mirrors as well if it's not a street riden bike.........just to name a few things.

I appreciate that man I've did all that. I got block offs for the mirrors gotta take that rear pegs off cause I have a 4-2-1 shorty tip. Anymore? What about engine components its just in use for the track now anything I can get rid of?

Kickstand, dry block it, oil cooler, Charging system. Just a few I can think of off the top of my head

what do u call "unnecessasy"?? i got an 04 1k and its real light.
remove one front and rear brake, mirrors, horn, both front and rear lights, rear pegs, lightened shock, use an aftermarket exhaust, cut oil pan, cooling system, charging system to name a few
