Does this apply to all year 1000? Will a 04 1000 front end fit a gen 2 busa?

I thought I remember reading that a Gen2 busa front end is the same as the 1000 front end so there was nothing to be gained by doing this(only a Gen2)

What is the advantage if there is no weight savings like you get on a Gen1

the reason why i would like to do this is because i have cut 04 forks and pm revolution wheels, and i need to know if the stock modified swing arm will work on the busa frame also i thought i saw a post that they interchange.

    They are not the same.

And yes, you can mount a 1k front end with 1k triples and all
