Chris you will need at least a +12 tail if you want to go that long. My bike is set at 66 inches with a 68 inch arm and you already know the deal with the tail light at that length. If you want the bike low at 70+ inches you need a long tail.

Are you sure you are measuring the WB right. Stock WB is 58" and 70" would put you at 12" over. Unless you cut the hell out of the tail section a plus 8 tail will catch pure hell on the launch.

This is my 08 at 68" (+10 over) and the tire ripped the taillight out even removing the bottom taillight bracket and moving the circuit board to the top of the taillight and cutting the lip off the taillight.

This is the same tail with the bike at 66 inches (overlook the rash on the tail its the only pic I could access) Anyway you'll notice the tail tapers in the back so it gets smaller toward the taillight. 70 inches would fu$ck shit up even without a taillight)

My 09 sits at 66" (+8 over) and it clears the tire on the launch without any problems

Maybe you know something I don't and can school me up
