Gear can help some and gear can also hurt u. Gear is not gonna knock tenths off ur time to get u where u should be. U went .3 faster on stock motor, that should tell u somethings wrong. Check ur chain for kinks also.

so what should i do will a dyno trip do me any good and how would i know if my cams werent set right?

From this info I assume you haven't had it on the dyno, right?
A customer had a stock bore motor with cams, pistons and a lot of other things pick up 20bhp from dynoing it. They run lean!

Look on the powercommander site and selct one with a tuning link.
Ask them to set it for an AF of 13.2 WOT and 13.4 mid range, 13.6 till 40%

we ride kaws -- we build them all -- if you look at the motors we do including cars/bikes we probably actually build kaws the least -- not a lot of difference between the big 4 --

just wait a few weeks-- you will see something really fast coming to bunker -- and it won't be a kaw.

come out this saturday and we will show you some kaws that get down pretty good too!
