Mark, if your sure to get it back right, I wouldn't worry about it. I use dial indicators to put stock exhaust gears on intake cams for my low budget bracket motors. Run 4.70's and save a lot of money. If your confident in doing it, I say go for it! John Woods

really? Why would you go through process of a cam swap and not correct the valve timing events.
