HELP!!!! engine noise

This is a discussion about HELP!!!! engine noise within the Suzuki Hayabusa section, where you will Some say Busa's Dominate; I have a 00 Busa that has me searching and scratching my head ...........when it idles in neutral, with the clutch out it has a light thumping noise that seems to be coming from the

    Default HELP!!!! engine noise

    I have a 00 Busa that has me searching and scratching my head ...........when it idles in neutral, with the clutch out it has a light thumping noise that seems to be coming from the clutch basket area. When the clutch is pulled in no noise, and no noise in any of the gears. I have experienced a few kickbacks when trying to start it does this have anything to do with it?

    Did it just occur ? Or did it start making the noise after you changed something ?

    My chain come off last yea,r busted my water pump and shifter cover. I tore the engine down and checked everything and thats when I noticed it making the sound a little.

    Is it coming from the clutch or the starter clutch area

    It sounds like it comes from the clutch area. I feel it when I put my handon the clutch cover, but he bike did kickback more than once when my battery was down a little.
