Don't buy one without a swinging pickup period good way to burn a motor.

Go with 2 inch pan on the street. Oil doesn't stay in one spot it moves forward while braking rear under accelleration your pickup needs to do the same.

Can you run a 1" oil pan on the street? It has a swivel pickup tube.

The Koenig 2 inch oil pans with the swivel oil pickup have been copied by numerous people but are still the best in my opinion.

PM Zook and buy a 2" pan from him. I've used 4 of his, on busa's and 1000s and the swivel never broke and they all have been on the motors for several years now. No failures! Great price and great person to buy from.

While you guys are on the subject, I just got a 1.5' oil pan with swivel pick up and I was told to get an oil pan baffle. I tried to install it last night and the baffle got in the way of the swivel. Is this common ? The baffle functions as the oil pan gasket as well and I'm wondering if I could trim it so the swivel swings freely. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
