Re: QUICK SHIFTER
IF YOU ARE RACING THE BIKE I WOULD GO WITH A AIR SHIFTER.

Re: QUICK SHIFTER
I had one on my 061k and thought it was pretty lame. Like said above if your going to be drag racing it get an airshifter, much faster shifts.

Re: QUICK SHIFTER
I love them. I have an air shifter and a quick shifter now. On the track the airshifter pulls the gear lever and the quick shifter sees the pressure and kills the ignition. On the street I just bump through the gears without out letting out of the throttle.

Re: QUICK SHIFTER
I ran one when I first got my busa. It's a slick piece, for the street. For the track an air shifter works a lot nicer. You still have to get that left foot on the peg and ready to shift, with the quick shifter. You can get an air shifter for about the same price. The quick shifter is great for someone that is road racing. But,if you headed to the drag strip,I would get an air shifter.

Re: QUICK SHIFTER
For racing I would get an air or co2 shifter. You can launch much harder and not worry about trying to get your feet on the pegs and hitting your shift point. You can even set it up on an auto shift depending on how far you want to go with the setup. I have seen some setups with the shift light that triggers the auto shift at a preset RPM. That is what I am looking at right now. I have a regular Co2 shifter and I was looking at installing a shift light soon. For just a few bucks more it can be configured with the above option to shift the bike automatically.
