gearing set-up

This is a discussion about gearing set-up within the Suzuki Hayabusa section, where you will Some say Busa's Dominate; i just put a set of 07 gixxer rims on my 02 busa, i didnt know the sprockets for a 1000 an a busa was different. what woud be a good setup on gearing for

    i just put a set of 07 gixxer rims on my 02 busa, i didnt know the sprockets for a 1000 an a busa was different. what woud be a good setup on gearing for the front sprocket an back, for the drag strip

    that depends on a few things the length of the bike and power but i have the same set up and i run 16/42 and or 16/43 63inches long

    well the h.p is 217 an im 64 inchs. i got the 16 front an 42 rear,so i should be good?

    the 1 inch wouldnt make a difference but ya weight will...i'd go wit the 43 and focus on the tach.....2cent
