Wave washer in clutch!

This is a discussion about Wave washer in clutch! within the Suzuki Hayabusa section, where you will Some say Busa's Dominate; Yup looks like it to me thats why i asked if it was thin..with out it the metal will wear away at the aluminum....look further into it to prevent damage on the future..

    Yup looks like it to me thats why i asked if it was thin..with out it the metal will wear away at the aluminum....look further into it to prevent damage on the future..

    I would definitely pull starter cover and disassemble and inspect in there. Might also be good idea to drop oil pan and make sure there's no other surprises.

    usually when i have extra parts left over form a build i throw them behind the pressure plate also. great hiding spot! lmao

    Okay starter pulled the wave washer was there, looked alot different though. I believe it is one of the small washers that come with the Brock's clutch mod.. I went ahead an pulled the pan an nothing luckily, Changed filter also just in case. So I put it all back together and rode down the street, seems fine.. But still hate having extra parts..

    Did you take the legs off the brocks mod to make sure one of them wasnt missing a washer? Wiggle each of them to see if one of them is loose.

    I figured what it was, took off a stud and that was the stub base... Not sure how the hell it was waved though!?!? Thanks everyone!!

    Glad you figured it out,looked alot bigger in pic ..and prob got bent being in there bouncing around..real lucky didnt break anything..

    probably at one time when the spring bolt was removed the stud came with it so the washer dropped out into the open area behind the pressure plate, loctite the studs in so that wont happen again

    either that or it was pinched when the standoff was bolted down, it was hard to tell how big it was from the pic. when you took off one off the springs did one of the standoffs come off with it? that sometimes happens..i think those tiny washers are flat when new, but maybe not

    Yes one did come off but that was after I found the washer lol... I'm just thankful it stayed there and no where else!!!!
