About LinkBacksonly thin wave washer on that side should be on intermediate gear pin in big starter cover between top gear and cover. it's there to keep gear from grinding cover..
There is a washer first thing on back side of pressure plate, but its dark colored and flat...

there is no wave washer behind the needle bearing on the push rod only a flat steel one that goes against the press plate. the wave washer goes on the idler gear next to starter clutch between cover and gear

the wave washer goes under the right cover ..the cover thats next to the clutch cover.. but its a 2 pc cover, and it goes under the the bigger part. why its in your clutch idk, it may not even be the one that goes where im talking about. But it does'nt belong in the clutch area.. Did someone else work or own your bike before you?

you got lucky is all I can say.. you have any starting issues? if so i would now pull the starter covers off and have to know for myself all was right...
