Well I am a little embarrassed to say but I Brought my new 2012 to the track last week upgraded from my r1 and I managed a 10.20@142 sad 1.85 60 foot night and day compared to my r1 hard as hell to launch corrected air was 4,400 feet so at least I am on par with the magazines time lmao not much faster then my all stock except for lowered and geared 600 I went 10.45@131 3,300 feet elevation gong to be hot tonight at the track but hopping for 9's no mods yet wandering what everybody else is running on them stock or mostly stock?

Hit the track again new mods

    1. brocks front strap kit
    2. 3 hole lowering link set lowest
    3. clutch mod
    4. catalyst carbon drag seat

I was having traction problems last time out so i put a 190 hook up tire on fell like i lost 1-2mph with that thing.
    i managed a 9.779 @140.84 1.62 60 foot
best of the night was 144.27
and a 1.609 60 foot i am all over the place trying to get used to the thing elavation on my 9.77 run was 3,900 feet about 80 degrees and that was the last run of the night.
mirriors on and filter in i was trying to figure out why i didnt gain as much as i thought i would. Turns out i was running with a full tank compared to last time out witch i made sure to go through the trouble to run only 1 gallon.
Next is an air shifter and 1 down sprocket practice, practice,Practice.

I got an 08 gen 2 all stock other than a clutch mod, lowered to the middle link, air shifter and geared 2 down in front . I ran a 1/4 mile for the first time up at no hatin a couple weeks ago and I ws runnin 9.3s, 9.4s consistently and best time was a 9.23. 60 ft's were 1.5s, best was a 1.48. Speed was consistent 145-147mph and yea it was hot as hell out.

How much you weigh? Down 2 up front seems like alot. I`m 1 down up front running 9.30`s at 151. I was thinking of adding 1 up in the rear next? I go through the traps just shifting into 6th

yes i know he stated stock format, just wanted to put in the (stock motored)prepped for street & strip duty set up.but to speak of stock does not include your lowered busa either.if not stock height, then it is not truly stock.but lets face it,if you run at the strip then sooner or later mods will follow, money & time permitting.
