    Default rear mount turbo

i have seen a cpl bikes with rear mount turbo set up. Is there anyone on here that has done this or is working on doing so. Id like to see some pics to get some ideas how the piping is ran, as well as the oil lines.

last is there any benefits to this as opposed to doing the traditional set up.

The only benefit I can see is having more room for the turbo. This is mainly done on show bikes and isn't really practical for a race bike I wouldnt think. If it was a legitimate idea, there would prolly be more than a couple bikes out there with em. Just my 2 cents.

You would think having a rear mount turbo would hurt performance in some way with all the extra distance the gases have to travel but some of the fastest Outlaw 10.5 cars mount their turbos in the trunk and it ain't hurting them none.

all of the "fastest" turbo outlaw 10.5 cars i have seen have the turbos mounted in the front or at the rear of the engine bay still in front of the driver...here at speedworld we have the outlaw real street nationals...so scary to watch a 10" tire run 6-7 seconds... also saw kirks rear mount setup and it looked like it would work very well as I'm sure it did. I think most people run the front or side mount turbo on race bikes because of the weight distribution issues...

I've only recently in the past few months started paying attention to outlaw 10.5 cars myself. The fabrication and engineering on those cars is insane. I started googling Outlaw 10.5 chassis and came up with tons of pics of start to finish car builds and its impressive to say the least. Those guys claim to have $200,000 in those cars...That makes me appreciate bikes that much more because for a quarter of the cost you can go the same e.t.

yeah those boys got big dollars to play with....the shit they pull the cars in cost more than my house...and yea i think people do rear mount to save fab work really that would be about the only benefit i can see..
